Things found through Stumble
Dec. 3rd, 2007 03:39 pmYeah, I am addicted to hitting the Stumble button. Always finding interesting things.
My Elf Name is Tári Elensar and my Hobbit Name is Tigerlily Hamwich of Buckleberry Fern. So cute!
This site will please all you space geeks who are into astronomy. I like how it tells you what the star nomenclature is when you hover over it. It would be great to sit with this outside in a place without light pollution and identifying these.
Interesting anti-capitalist poster...
For those needing a brush-up on anatomy and physiology of the human body there is this fascinating site to peruse. Video animation heavy content.
For all my cat enthusiast friends (I'm looking at you
ginmar) comes the holiday tree decorating by cats pawsite. Two cats are made to seem like they are the ones who take the tree out of the box and put it together and decorate it... Plus photos of the aftermath of 3 weeks of kitties in trees.
I'm glad that lobsters don't actually feel pain or scream when dropped in the boiling water: Kitchen Myths Busted
Hahahahaha! Why Can't I Own a Canadian? A great insight into the history of "God's" Laws.
And the most awesome thing of all (to me) I stumbled upon this artist's website! He doesn't live that far away from me IRL... and he illustrates the covers of one of my new favorite Werewolf/Vampire/Elven/etc series of books - about a character named Mercy Thompson - AND he has a cover for the newest paperback! I didn't even know - though I hoped - that a new book was coming out. It is due to be released on Jan 2 of next year: BEAUTIFUL!
Now I am off to cook some dinner: Tuna steak, crispy skinned baked potato, and yummy brussel sprouts is on the menu tonight. Deliciousity will occur.
