Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, oh wait! That has magic battling magic too... Damn. What about The Dark Is Rising series?? No, that has magic and Authurian legends woven into it. Darn it! Guess they can't stand behind allegories of an allegory. Oh, right. They are trying to convince us that their allegory isn't fiction, that it is the TRUTH.
