Newly minted word.... created by moi.
Aug. 2nd, 2006 02:45 pmFemphobia: fear of women or the "feminine social construct" - hatred of women to include hatred of any goal that could be labeled as "feminist."
Couple notes of interest on what's going on with me:
Got the euphamistic "we've decided to let you go" voicemail message from my recently departed job. Main reasons: Schedule got changed while I was on vacation and I had a no call, no show day on what was supposed to still be my vacation. Yeah, oh, and I allowed a couple of returns on the last day that I worked right before vacation - not knowing that we don't ever do returns and only give out store credit, something NEVER covered during my training. First time this has ever happened to me - getting canned - and having it done on voicemail no less.
Got this HUGE catalog from IKEA in the mail... *drool* and their prices are sooooo reasonable.
surelle, you wanna go to the store and gawk sometime?
Finally getting around to reading the other books (by Frank Herbert) in the Dune series, just finished Dune Messiah and started Children of Dune. So if I occasionally spout what sounds like desert philosophy, you now know why.
